Giving of talents

At St Martin's, we believe that we all have God-given talents for us to use in serving God and one another. There are many different ways in which people serve at church, whether in visible leadership roles or in behind the scenes roles and we are grateful for everyone who gives of their time to St Martin's.  If you would like to talk to someone about how you might be able to help, please have a chat with our vicar or churchwardens.

Giving of finances

St Martin's relies on the regular giving of its congregation, the rent from hall users and fundraising events to keep the building safe and welcoming, to pay for the Church's ministry and all the activities that we engage in.  Without the regular generous support of those who give, we would not be able to survive.  If you would like to support us financially, there are several ways of doing this.

Gift Aid

If you are a tax payer, St Martin's can claim 25p on every £1 that you donate without it costing you anything. All you need to do is put your donation into a Gift Aid envelope available in church or ask in church for a declaration from.

If you shop online, you can raise funds for St Martin's church by visiting the easyfundraising site.  All you need to do is register and select "St Martin's Church, Droylsden" as the cause you wish to support - it doesn't cost you anything to do this!   When you've registered, you're ready to shop and raise money! Simply click on the retailer you want, then shop as you would normally. When you make a purchase, easyfundraising will  send you an email telling you how much you've raised and pass the donation to us.
