Baptisms (Christenings)

In the baptism of children, parents are thanking God for his gift of life, deciding to start their child on the journey of faith and asking for the Church’s support. Teenagers and adults who have not been baptized as a child may also be baptized as a sign of their entry into the Christian faith. For more information, visit the Church of England website.

Baptisms normally take place on the third Sunday of the month at 12.30 pm, usually with a rehearsal on the previous Sunday at 12.00 noon.  There is no fee for baptisms.  If you would like to know more or wish to make a booking, please contact our vicar.
